A group of Physicists working on a black intel project on the outer rim on a planet named Zilith have gone missing. A team of Recon SEAL's have been inserted to find out why...

Element, book one, is dedicated to the men and women of C Company, Third Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, and to all the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces. In Element, the HMCS Haida and her crew are key characters. The HMCS Haida has been re-created as a twenty-third century Canadian hunter-killer destroyer within the United Confederacy of Planets' Navy, attached to the Sixth Battle Group, stationed as a blocking force in front of the Caldarian Armada, which is attempting to break their line and assault the home worlds of the Confederacy.

But something has happened that will determine not only the outcome of the current conflict with the Caldarians, but also the survival of civilization within the known universe itself. Something has been awakened from it's age long slumber deep beneath the surface of the planet Zilith, that should not have been disturbed. As the Guardian awakens, a remote sub-routine within it's ancient intelligence ascends twelve thousand miles from the planet's core to the surface and utters a cry that hasn't been heard for over fifty million years. It's ancient beyond time; it's hungry, rapacious. It's patience from it's long slumber has been rewarded. The Guardian is coming.

Element

Element is the first book in the Element trilogy. Book two, called 'Vortex', takes Commander Jackson and his SEAL team back to the planet Zilith in an attempt to stop the Caldarians from recovering the Element source, and the two fleets are engaged in a battle to win control of the Degus Gate. Book three, 'Sentient Dawn', places what's left of the Confederacy in a race to counter the Guardian before it destroys humanity.
